Features
Through the AI-powered features of Google, users will be able to reply, sum up, and prioritises messages on their Gmail, similar to Microsoft Designer, powered by Open AI DALL-E. They can work on Documents, generate ideas, edit them, and then rework them. The slides will automatically generate graphics, audio, and video that may help you bring your creative vision to life. Users can also do auto-completion, formula generation, and contextual classification in Sheets to transform raw data into insights and analysis. They can create fresh backgrounds and note-taking in Meet and allow workflows in Chat to complete tasks.
Usage
AI Workspace saves the time and effort of writing that first version for the users, whether they’re busy HR professional who needs to create customised job descriptions or a parent drafting invitation for their child’s birthday party. They can simply type the subject they want to write about, and a draft will be created right away. Users can keep editing and refining with the cooperative Al partner, adding further recommendations as necessary.
Functionalities
Users will be able to extend or rewrite text utilising AI technologies thanks to a similar capability. As a result, they might make a list of some key points from a meeting at work. Users can explicitly choose the tone, casual or formal, and Google Docs will then develop this into a more polished summary. Google demonstrated how AI can compose customised marketing messages for customers, expand bullet points into a full email, and summarise the contents of a lengthy email chain in Gmail in a video demo.
Availability
These new features in the Google Workspace will be available in the next few months, starting with the Documents and Sheets. Google intends to integrate more AI features in its ecosystem in the future.
