Health Connect App Launched

Health Monitoring App By Google And Samsung

As part of their recent string of collaborations, Google and Samsung have released a brand-new health monitoring platform in the form of the Health Connect App. This is something that has already been implemented in the Beta version for evaluation. Exciting new features are available in this app that set it apart from the competition.

The Concept

All of your fitness stats can be stored in one convenient place with the Health Connect App. The app is designed to retrieve all of your health and fitness information. There are nearly 40 distinct data types included across the six specific sections (Activity, Body Measurements, Female Cycle Tracking, Nutrition, Sleep, and Vitals).

Privacy Options

There is no compromise in confidentiality when using the Health Connect app. Users have control over what information they share with Health Services and what information they keep private. Google's unique health data encryption offering is unavailable on any other third-party app. However, this app can pull information from your other health apps for more precise data management.

Compatibility

All Wear OS 3 and later versions are suitable for use with the Health Connect App. Your Galaxy Watch 4 or one of its successor watches can communicate with your smartphone. The app can sync up with these watches in a jiffy, pulling in regular fitness and health stats.

Don't stress if you don't have a Galaxy Watch. You're going to get some support from this software eventually. Data from third-party manufacturers like Dexcom, Fitbit, Flo, Oura, and many more may be imported into the Health Connect app. The smart wearable is optional; the app handles everything else.

Availability

Officially, Google has announced the Beta version is live and accessible to users. The aforementioned software may be downloaded from the Play Store and the Samsung Apps store, respectively. The only steps required are to download the app and pair it with a suitable wearable.
