This feature is already present on most popular video conferencing apps like Zoom, Google Meets, Microsoft Teams and others. It is essentially a simple way of inviting people to join an ongoing video call with just a click of a button. You can share the link with multiple people in the same team, as well as entire groups. The only caveat is that they, too, must have Whatsapp installed on their phones to access the call.
As long as they have the application installed on their phones, it doesn't even matter if the person clicking on the link is in your contacts or not. So far, this feature is still in beta testing, but if rumours are to be believed, it will be rolled out very soon. In addition to this feature, the company is also working on a new type of encrypted video call feature, which will host up to 32 people at the same time. We don't know exactly when either of these features will be launched to the public, but chances are that it happens before the end of the year.
