Design
The design of the MIJIA Karaoke microphone is pretty similar to the already existing model, with a slim body that is easy to hold and features the signature matte black finish over a plastic body that is well known and almost expected by users. The bottom part of the mic is a bit longer, so you can hold it more easily while also hosting the batteries that help the device function.
Four individual buttons are present on the body, with a big power on/off button, two standard volume control buttons, and a programmable button between them that can be used to skip songs and access other predetermined functions. The top part features the traditional circular housing for the microphone, which is protected by a fine steel mesh and a high-quality sponge. The sponge protects the mic from small impacts and general saliva spray and acts as a noise filter for better sound capture.
Internals
On the inside, the microphone uses a 28mm memory coil sound card-level DSP chip, which captures a clear and easily audible sound that can be further optimized for the best output. This is done with the help of a DRC dynamic optimization technology, which not only enhances the vocal parts but also offers professional-level EQ equalization and reverberation effects. This is done through a digital signal link, which supports a low noise floor, low distortion, and low latency output.
You even get U-segment signal transmission, Xiao Ai, and MIJIA app support. All of this doesn't even count the built-in 30+ pre-set sound effects, which are spread across four categories and can easily be applied based on your preference. All of this and more is powered by the built-in battery, which can deliver up to 16 hours of non-stop sound capture.
