Design & Build Quality
The Acer Swift Edge features a minimalist unibody design that is made from a special allow that is 20% lighter and twice as strong as regular aluminium. On the bottom half, it hosts a full-size backlit keyboard, a large and super-responsive trackpad, and a fingerprint reader for added security. There is even a pair of stereo speakers packed on either side of the keyboard, with plenty of space to spare.
While the top half features a bright and vibrant near-bezel-less 16-inch 4K OLED display. It has a screen-to-body ratio of 92% and a peak brightness of 500nits. It comes with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 and TUV Rheinland Eyesafe certifications and supports a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut output. There is even an FHD webcam tucked inside the narrow top bezel.
Performance & Connectivity
On the inside, you get the latest AMD Ryzen 6000 series processors, which are paired with AMD Radeon graphics shared memory. You can further equip the setup with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. There is even a special Microsoft Pluton security processor onboard to protect you from all sorts of malware and cybersecurity attacks.
The whole setup is run on Windows 11 home edition and is powered by a highly efficient battery that delivers a screen-on time of up to 7.50 hours on a single charge. You also get lots of connectivity features, including two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, a full-size HDMI 2.1 port, a headphone jack, and the usual WiFi-6E and Bluetooth modules.
