The standard M2 Mac Mini can support up to two displays, having the standard Apple display qualities of one display of up to 6K/60Hz over a Thunderbolt connection and a second display of up to 5K/60Hz over Thunderbolt or a 4K/60Hz over HDMI.
Specifications
While the new M2 and M2 Pro chipset options, as well as greater memory and storage options, are available for the new Mac Mini, the outside design of the model is unchanged from that of the outgoing model. The M2 Mac mini’s standard configuration includes a 256GB SSD, 8GB of unified memory with 100GB/s memory bandwidth, and an M2 chip (8-core CPU, 10-core GPU). The 24-GB LPDDR5 unified memory and 8TB of high-speed storage on the M2 Pro Mac mini can be configured to have a 10-core CPU and a 16-core GPU.

The M2 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage are included in the Mac Mini’s standard configuration. Along with two USB-A ports and two Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) connectors on the back of the device, an upgrade from the Thunderbolt 3 ports on the previous iteration, it has an HDMI port, gigabit ethernet, and a conventional headphone jack which will enable users to use wired headphones instead of always using wireless headphones.
