The Technology
Spatial Vision technology uses the device’s built-in camera, lenticular lens, and eye-tracking features to create separate images for each eye and produces an autostereoscopic 3D image. Users can easily transition between 2D and 3D graphics, enabling product designers to visualise their 3D models without having to build real prototypes. The Spatial Vision hub offers development tools and instructions on how to use techniques like gesture control and interactive learning with the aim of creating apps for 3D ecosystems like the metaverse, supporting Virtual Reality applications as well.
The Models
The new ASUS ProArt StudioBook, ZenBook Pro and VivoBook Pro laptops will feature these displays.
The revamped ZenBook Pro 16X OLED uses the most recent ASUS Supernova System-on-Modul design with a specifically developed Intel Core i9-13905H CPU to minimise the motherboard core area by approximately 40%, improving cooling and freeing up room for GPU power components to increase performance. Also, the laptop has 32 GB of LPDDR5X DRAM.
The new ASUS ProArt StudioBook model was developed in collaboration with Asus and Pantone, the leader in digital colour technology. The ProArt Creator Hub 2.0’s users will have access to their databases, including the Pantone Libraries, Colour Space information, and Colour Harmonies for this model.
The OLED displays will also have a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, a reaction time of 0.2 ms, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The laptops will include GPUs from Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 40 series, designed for content producers that require powerful performance.
Price & Availability
The prices of the three models featuring the glass-free 3D OLED laptops are not revealed yet. We are expected to get more details on the prices and global availability very soon.
