Design
Both the Fortis laptops have mechanically fastened keys that are spill and dust-resistant, as well as a bonded rubber trim that protects against bumps and drops. The MIL-STD-810H testing has also been carried out to ensure its durability. The Windows-based variant offers an optional HP Rechargeable Pen, making it simpler for users to intuitively doodle and take notes. Both have 11.6-inch touchscreen displays. Each laptop also includes a 720p HD webcam and a 5MP world-facing camera option for taking pictures and films.
Specifications
The Intel Pentium N6000, which has four cores and four threads but can only operate at 3.3GHz and has less cache, is what drives the HP Fortis Chromebook version. A 64GB eMMC module maximises storage, although RAM is just 8 GB in size. The system runs on Windows and is powered by an Intel N200 or N100 processor. The maximum number of usable cores and threads is four, and the maximum boost frequency is 3.7GHz. It may also be configured with up to 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD.
Features
In the Fortis laptops, there are many variations in terms of ports. The HP Pro Fortis x360 G11 laptop, which is the Windows variant, has 2X USB Type-A ports, 1X USB Type-C port, 1X HDMI, 1X RJ45 Ethernet, and a headphone jack for plugging in any high-quality headphones.
