One of the highlights of the event was the introduction of the HUAWEI Mate Xs 2. This new foldable phone features an ultra-flat surface with a minimalistic look, thanks to the new Falcon Wing Design. The movement of the hinge and screen is precisely synchronized via the fixed-length linkage control. HUAWEI developed an industry-first composite screen specifically for this device, which claims to absorb all shock and buffer.
The phone also features a True-Chroma Camera System, which includes a 50MP camera as well as improved HUAWEI XD Optics to further elevate image clarity and help restore image details. To top that all off, the HUAWEI Mate Xs 2 incorporates unique multitasking capabilities and floating window swipe gestures to provide seamless control while operating in a multi-window format.
HUAWEI Mate Xs 2 comes pre-installed with HMS (Huawei Mobile Services), which includes Petal One and a variety of useful and premium services such as Petal Search, Petal Maps, HUAWEI Video, HUAWEI Browser, GameCenter, and more.

MateBook X Pro
HUAWEI MateBook X Pro is a new laptop that comes in a sleek metallic body made from light and strong magnesium alloys, featuring a full-CNC unibody design. This means that the laptop weighs only 1.26 kg, thus making it super portable. It also features a new 14.2-inch Real Colour FullView Display, which has managed to obtain the world's first Eye Comfort 3.0 certification by TÜV Rheinland.
All HUAWEI MateBook X Pro laptops are certified by IntelEvo and come with 12th Gen Core processors. This includes a 30W performance mode that handles intensive tasks with remarkable ease. Thanks to system-level optimization supported by upgraded Super Turbo technology, the laptop works perfectly with Windows systems to unleash powerful performance and create a smoother user experience.
Another unique aspect of this ecosystem is the Super Device feature, which allows you to effortlessly connect the laptop to other Huawei devices nearby and collaborate between them all. The HUAWEI MateBook 16s also features Intel's 12th Gen processors, along with a 16-inch 2.5K touchscreen, with an average ΔE<1 high color accuracy, and a 1080p AI camera. The MateBook D 16 model, on the other hand, is highlighted by a gorgeous 16-inch display, but thanks to its 18.4 mm thickness, manages to weigh just 1.7 kg. MateBook D 16 is also the first laptop to come equipped with the HUAWEI Metaline Antenna, which claims to improve the signal conversion rate by 56%, and facilitates high-speed Internet access, even in areas where the Wi-Fi signal is weak. FreeBuds Pro 2
The final product showcased at the event was the new FreeBuds Pro 2 earbuds, which incorporate cutting-edge TWS noise-cancellation capabilities. The earbuds feature an ultra-hearing dual-driver true sound system and digital cross-over technology, delivering a better surging bass and good sound quality with rich details. It received the HWA and Hi-Res Wireless Dual HD Audio Certification. The new call noise cancellation feature called Pure Voice improves voice call quality, thanks to the presence of a 4-Mic Call Noise Cancellation system and a Huawei-exclusive deep neural network noise cancellation algorithm. The Triple Mic ANC System with 3 highly-sensitive microphones boosts the average ANC depth by an industry-leading 15% when compared to its predecessor, with offers a wider noise cancellation frequency with up to 47 dB of noise cancellation. At the same time, HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 is co-engineered with Devialet for tuning, providing it with the perfect balance of technology and art to deliver a more appealing experience.
The new HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 come in Silver Blue, Silver Frost, and Ceramic White colours, and will be on sale at a price of just 699AED.
