Ahead of the mega event of CES 2023, the Lenovo Tab M9 has just been released by Lenovo. The new Tab M9, like the previously released Tab M8, is a budget-friendly tablet with various upgrades over the Tab M8, including a bigger screen and a more potent CPU. Design & Display

The Lenovo Tab M9 weighs 344 g (0.76 lbs) and features a stylish and sleek dual-tone metal casing. It has a 9-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 800 x 1,340 pixels (176 PPI pixel density), a maximum brightness of 400 nits and noticeable bezels on the edges. At the rear of the device is an 8 MP camera sensor with autofocus, and a 2 MP sensor is utilised for selfies and video calls.

Specifications

The MediaTek® Helio G80 Octa-Core processor, AndroidTM 12 operating system, and up to 128GB of storage provide consumers with the strength and storage they need to stream and save their favourite movies and shows. 32/64/128 GB of eMMC 5.1 memory and 3/4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM are available as memory and storage configurations.

Features & Connectivity

The Lenovo Tab M9 offers GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, and other wireless connectivity options. It has a 3.5 mm audio jack and a micro-SD card connector for memory expansion. Because the tablet lacks a fingerprint reader, Face Unlock is used to provide security. A 5100 mAh battery within the tablet may handle up to 13 hours of movie playback.

It also comes with an immersive reading mode that mimics the colours of actual book pages, lets users adjust the brightness for their eyes, and even provides a variety of ambient background sounds. A 10W USB-C charger is also included. There are two colour choices available for it: Frost Blue and Arctic Grey.

The Lenovo Tab M9 will be available for purchase for $169. Global availability will begin in February 2023.
