Display
The Razer Blade 16 will feature the first dual-mode mini-LED display in the world, which has two native resolutions: Ultra HD Plus with 3840 x 2160 pixels at 120Hz, popularly known as Creator Mode and Full HD Plus with 1920 x 1080 pixels at 240Hz, known as Gamer Mode. For the best quality, content creators can work in 4K resolution with Creator Mode. On the other side, Gamer Mode reduces the resolution in exchange for a more fluid gaming experience. The Plus features, which further improve display quality, include support for HDR 1000 and a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut for stunning images.
The Razer Blade 18 adopts a different strategy by concentrating on replacing desktop PCs. Instead of having two native resolutions, it remains with a Quad HD Plus with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and display at 240Hz, which is the perfect balance for both work and play. Additionally, the device still supports the whole DCI-P3 gamut while lacking HDR 1000.
Specifications
The two devices, Blade 16 and Blade 18, will be outfitted with the most recent 13th generation Intel Core i9 HX chipset and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPU that can operate at up to 175W TGP. The GPU receives 175W of power to ensure great performance.
Features
The Razer Blade 18 also boasts a 5MP camera, a THX spatial audio speaker array made from six units, upgradeable components, an extensive port selection and efficient vapour chamber cooling. The Blade 16 contains four speakers instead of a 6-speaker array. For its cooling system, the Blade 18 features three fans, compared to the Blade 16’s two.
