Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Go Leaks

New Galaxy Computing Devices

Tech giant Samsung is currently developing numerous new Galaxy Book devices. The Galaxy Book 2 Go 5G and Wi-Fi have recently been added to the Bluetooth SIG database, and their support pages have been activated on the main website of the brand. The two Samsung laptops have now been discovered on the US FCC certification website, which provides information on their main features.

Features

Hermes 14″ (WiFi) and Hermes 14″ (5G) are the codenames for the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Go Wi-Fi and Galaxy Book 2 Go 5G, respectively. They will have a 14-inch display and can reportedly sustain 45W charging. The Galaxy Book 2 Go Wi-Fi will measure 224mm x 15mm x 324mm. As these notebooks were previously seen on the Bluetooth SIG website, it is confirmed that they will support Bluetooth v5.2. Both models will come pre-installed with Windows 11. Also, the Galaxy Book2 Go series will support both Wi-Fi 6E and Qualcomm FastConnect 6700.

Competition

A small limitation that might come along with this launch is the price bracket Samsung is aiming for in this Galaxy Book series, which already has many other reputed models from other famous brands. Some of the examples can be Lenovo’s Ideapad and Thinkpad series, Asus Vivobook series, Acer Chromebook series, Dell Inspiron series and Infinix Inbook series. So unless there are some really exciting new features in the Galaxy Book series that are not yet revealed by Samsung, this series might face very tough competition.

Price & Availability

There is no concrete report on the pricing, but it can be safely speculated that they will start from $665. There are still not many details available regarding the Galaxy Book series. The future Galaxy books have not yet received any confirmation from Samsung, and as soon as they’re launched, the details about their availability in the global market will be known soon.
