Alan Walker Customized Design Accents
Always pushing the envelope, ASUS ROG provides the Zephyrus G14 AW SE with even more high-end finishes and personalization options. Designed in collaboration with Alan Walker, the special edition G14 features distinct colour accents, like the Spectre Blue shade of the AniMe Matrix LED array, exclusive to this laptop. The nameplate sports a similar tone, along with Walker’s own signature next to the ROG logo. The nameplate is manufactured with a process called physical vapour deposition for enticing reflectivity that changes from different angles. The two fabric belts along the belt add to ROG’s iconic cyberpunk flair, with one belt using reflective text that blends seamlessly with the matrix LEDs.
The experience begins the moment you lay your fingers on the container, owing to the striking design and acrylic top cover, all curated by Walker himself. The box—Walker’s most beloved part of the project—is far more than just packaging: it’s a creative accessory on its own. Connecting the box to the G14 with a USB Type-C cable turns it into the ROG Remix sampler, with conductive pads on the surface that allow users to trigger 18 of Walker’s own sound effects. ROG Remix also displays the iconic ROG and Alan Walker-inspired animations on the main screen of the laptop and AniMe Matrix panel based on the MIDI inputs selected.
The laptop also features a custom boot animation and Alan Walker wallpaper. The glass touchpad is shaded with a distinct pattern by taking inspiration from a music equalizer, alongside keycaps that match Alan Walker’s signature colours—plus A and W keys with the producer’s logo printed on top. To top it all off, an Alan Walker and ROG-themed baseball cap and pair of socks also come bundled with a special edition of the ROG Sleeve so users can represent the Republic anywhere.
