Range Of View
The previous and new cameras from Wyze have equal specifications aside from the fact that the older model had a vertical range of only 93 degrees. The new camera has an entirely new design that, in addition to enabling the waterproof wired camera to pan 360 degrees, also allows it to tilt a full 180 degrees.
Design
The new Wyze V3 camera is quite silent. This time, it cut the motor noise in half, which is a significant reduction. The business also unveiled a new privacy option that directs the camera downward and limits its field of view because the camera can now fully tilt down. It’s also fairly little. However, it feels heavier than it looks and is overall well-built.
Features
Wyze’s HD sensor with colour night vision, as well as the capability to track objects and people once the camera detects motion, 24/7 recording on a microSD card and two-way audio are some of these features. The new version is also simpler to place upside-down on a wall or ceiling because it is a little more flexible. The camera may be programmed to continually watch a room in a regular pattern by specifying four waypoints, which is a useful but not particularly novel feature. The new camera system utilises Wyze’s subscription AI and storage service for automatically recognising and labelling events, just like its other contemporary cameras.
