Nayla Al Khaja
The event itself was pretty well hyped, with an extensive list of invitees that also featured Nayla Al Khaja – UAE’s first female film producer and director. Nayla shared her insights on the device and showcased her Cannes Film Festival experience, which was entirely shot with an HONOR Magic4 Pro 5G. The video showcased the smartphone’s key video features, like the Magic-Log Movie Master and AI Film Effects. These features help deliver the world’s first 10-bit Log 4K video recording in 60fps, which is a big advancement for smartphone camera systems.
Raindance Film School
HONOR also announced a collaboration with Raindance Film School for long-term cooperation to encourage young talents to unleash their creativity and discover the limitless possibilities of creating content by using a smartphone. As part of this collaboration, HONOR and Raindance File School organized a contest for Raindance File School’s students to shoot a short film on HONOR Magic4 Pro 5G, and the winners of the competition were announced during the launch event.

Coming back to the camera system itself, the HONOR Magic4 Pro gets a powerful Triple Camera combination featuring a 50MP Wide Camera which packs a 1/1.56-inch color sensor, a 50MP 122o Ultra-Wide Camera, and a 64MP Periscope Telephoto Camera, all powered by best-in-class Ultra-Fusion Computational Photography. The lens supports up to 100x digital zoom as well as optical and electronic image stabilization to easily capture distant scenes.
