Design
The new Realme 10 gets a classy redesign with a flat back that features two new unique textures that offer a glossy metallic sheen to the smartphone. When you move the smartphone under direct light, it even projects unique reflections in patterns that look like rays of shining light or shimmering diamonds. The other noticeable detail is the removal of the larger single camera bump, which has not been replaced with three individual camera rings that are raised quite a bit from the smartphone body. This creates a unique aesthetic, but we would recommend using a smartphone cover to equalize the surface if you don't want the phone to wobble when placed on flat surfaces.
Specifications
On the front, you get a 6.6-inch LCD panel with an FHD+ resolution, 401 PPI pixel density, and 400nits of sustained brightness. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate, which is supported by a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display is vibrant and sharp, with support for HDR playback. The display fits snugly in the package, with a near-bezel-less look that is made possible by a teardrop notch design that minimizes unnecessary cutouts.
On the inside, you get a Dimensity 700 processor that has been paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. You can expand both, as the system comes with support for up to 6GB of Virtual RAM and a MicroSD card slot for physical memory expansion. The whole setup is powered by a 5000mAh battery, which can sustain 33W fast charging.
You get a triple camera array in the back, while the front only gets an 8MP selfie unit. The rear camera setup features a 50MP main unit, a 2MP macro lens, and a unique AI lens, which will help with better computational photography. The smartphone also gets the usual connectivity options, such as Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and even a 3.5mm audio jack.
