The leaked renders show the device in a new Lunar Silver colour option. It looks subtle and polished and fits well will the minimalist aesthetic of the device itself. As expected, there is a decent-sized camera bump, which is expected to feature a 200MP main sensor. If the render is correct, then this new sensor easily takes up half the space of the camera array, with the other two cameras and a flash tucked in underneath.
The bump itself doesn't jutt too far out of the body, with rounded curves to match those of the phone itself. Just by looking at the renders, it seems like the device will be pretty slim and easy to hold, with minor changes to mark the difference between the models. In fact, the design of the 12T and the 12T Pro looks exactly the same, with the only noticeable difference being the mention of the main sensor megapixel count below the flash module.
If rumours are to be believed, the similarities between the two models are expected to continue on the front side as well, with both phones getting a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and 20MP selfie shooter. Both models are also expected to feature the same 5000mAh battery, with support for 120W fast charging. In fact, the only main difference between the two will be the main camera and the processor.
As we mentioned above, the 12T Pro will get a new 200MP main sensor, while the 12T will feature a still impressive 108MP unit. Also, the 12T Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, while the 12T gets the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Ultra. Other than this, there is hardly anything to separate the devices from each other. We will have to wait for the official launch to see if the company can offer some other features to differentiate the two further.
