Design
The appearance of this new K60 Series Smartphone will not be something out of this world in terms of its design. Redmi has maintained its signature understated elegance throughout. The device will feature a body that is thin, but the exact dimensions and weight of this phone have not yet been revealed. The fact that this apparatus will have IP53 dust and splash resistance is a positive development thus far. Dual-SIM capability and 5G connectivity will undoubtedly be included in these handsets’ feature sets.
Display
The OLED screen on this smartphone will refresh at a rate of 120 hertz, allowing for smooth gameplay of even the most graphically intensive games. Dolby Vision and HDR10+ options will improve the clarity of this 6.67-inch screen. The maximum brightness of the display is 1200 nits. This screen has a resolution of 1440 by 3200 pixels. Corning Gorilla Glass was utilized to protect the display and extend its life.
Specs
There is no definitive information available about the features and capabilities of the Redmi K60 smartphones. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset will very certainly be used to power at least part of the phones in this series, while the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor will power the more expensive top-tier versions. Both chipsets will function well with an octa-core central processing unit. This will come with a maximum of 12 gigabytes of RAM and 512 gigabytes of UFS 3.1 storage. Because these devices will not feature a MicroSD Slot, the capacity of this internal storage cannot be increased in any way.
Camera
On the rear of the smartphone, there will be two cameras. The main camera with 64 megapixels, phase detection autofocus, and optical image stabilization will be accompanied by a secondary camera with 8 megapixels and an ultrawide-angle lens. This allows for a resolution of 4,000 by 2,000 pixels at 30 frames per second, 10,000 by 60,000 at 120 fps, and a whopping 720 by 240 at 744 fps. There will be a single 20 MP wide selfie camera up front, capable of capturing high-resolution images and letting you record video at 1080p at either 30 or 120 frames per second.
Battery
This unit will come with a 5500 mAh battery. At long last, a smartphone with a battery larger than 5,000 mAh is available. The starting pricing for this line of smartphones has been announced at $709. Obviously, the models in this series with more advanced features will cost more than those with less advanced features. While the device’s worldwide rollout is expected to follow its successful launch in China, it will soon be available for purchase in that country.
