Specifications
A 40-inch IPS panel with W-LED backlights and a resolution of 3,400 × 1,440 pixels in a 21:9 aspect ratio powers both the 40B1U5600 and 40B1U5601H monitors. Additionally, both Philips displays support 120 Hz refresh rates when connected to a device through DisplayPort or USB Type-C but only 100 Hz when connected via HDMI. Furthermore, the 1,200:1 contrast ratio and 4 ms GtG reaction times of the 40B1U5601H are the same as those of the 40B1U5600.
Features
In contrast to the 40B1U5600’s 500 nits and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, the 40B1U5601H only offers 300 nits of peak brightness. These displays from Philips also have a single DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, and USB Type-C connection, with the latter supporting 100 W Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode. The 40B1U5601H contains an RJ45 Ethernet port and a USB Type-A hub, like the 40B1U5600. Both monitors share a pair of 5W speakers.
