It's built for gaming and has a very rapid refresh rate that gives crystal-clear motion and low input lag. It supports NVIDIA's G-SYNC variable refresh rate technology natively and is one of the very few 240Hz monitors that come with Reflex Latency Analyzer support. It's a very flexible display with one of the widest colour gamuts we've ever seen on a gaming monitor, as well as exceptional gradient handling. It's big enough to provide for an immersive gaming experience, and its wide horizontal viewing angle makes it ideal for co-op gaming. It also has a larger number of inputs than most comparable displays, including three HDMI 2.0 ports. Unfortunately, those ports are restricted to HDMI 2.0 bandwidth, and the stand is less versatile than most ASUS gaming monitors, with a smaller height variation. The ASUS PG279QM is a fantastic gaming display. It has excellent low input lag and a short response time, resulting in a fluid, responsive gaming experience with a little trail behind fast-moving objects. It enables a virtually tear-free gaming experience thanks to its support for both FreeSync and G-SYNC variable refresh rates.

The ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQ is the finest ASUS gaming display with a resolution of 1440p. Those who prefer more immersive gaming will benefit from a higher resolution, but it comes at the expense of a lower refresh rate, which might be too demanding on your video card. This monitor has a 144Hz refresh rate that you can overclock to 170Hz via a DisplayPort connection, making it ideal for gaming. The ASUS ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN is a fantastic gaming display with exceptional motion handling. It features a Black Frame Insertion feature, as well as a 360Hz refresh rate and an outstanding response time, allowing for clear and smooth motion in rapid-action sequences. It is a smaller 24.5-inch monitor with support for both G-Sync and FreeSync to provide a virtually tear-free and super smooth gaming experience. It has great ergonomics and wide viewing angles, making it an excellent choice for co-op gaming and sharing content. Unfortunately, while it is certainly bright enough to combat glare effectively (which it very well does), it isn't nearly strong enough to provide a great HDR experience. Its IPS display's low contrast ratio also makes blacks appear greyish, which may make it less suitable for gaming in the dark.

Its large 27-inch screen displays crystal clear pictures and text, and it has decent ergonomics and viewing angles, making it suitable for a variety of applications. This model provides all of the essential qualities for an excellent gaming experience, including a fast response time, low input lag, and a 144Hz refresh rate. Because it lacks an HDMI 2.1 port, however, it needs a graphics card with Display Stream Compression and a DisplayPort connection to achieve such a high speed. It's a wonderful display for the price. It has Adaptive Sync, which is compatible with both FreeSync and G-SYNC. The IPS panel's reflection handling on this monitor is quite good, and it can handle enough light to combat severe glare. However, it isn't as well-suited for dark rooms since the low contrast ratio makes blacks appear grey. It has a wide colour gamut and gets sufficiently bright in HDR, despite its poor local dimming. It has a Black Frame Insertion feature that improves motion clarity while you're gaming, which you may use at the same time as a variable refresh rate. Its large high-resolution screen provides incredible immersion, making it ideal for playing atmospheric games like RPGs. Unfortunately, because of its low contrast and mediocre black uniformity, it isn't the greatest option for gaming in the dark.

Unfortunately, this monitor is also deeply flawed as its performance of HDR isn't acceptable. Despite the fact that it has a 1,000-nit backlight and an HDR1000 rating, it isn't an actual HDR display. The ASUS ROG Strix XG43UQ's local dimming is to blame for this, as it is only available in theory on this monitor.
