Design
The Nothing Ear (2) will have a very similar design to its predecessor. The charging case and the earphones will continue to have a semi-transparent look. The earbuds will also have a transparent area that reveals their internal parts and battery cells. They have a stem shape for better grip and passive noise cancelling. The Nothing Ear (2) logo is etched on the stem, and a microphone cut-out can be seen on both sides of the earbud. With a translucent lid and a white coating that hides its internal parts, the charging case also features a semi-transparent design.
Battery & Charging
The 11.6mm drivers included in the first-generation Nothing Ear (1) TWS earbuds will remain in the Ear (2). On a single charge, each earbud is projected to provide up to six hours of listening time, while the charging case is anticipated to last up to 36 hours. Fast charging and Qi wireless charging are also supported by the charging case.
Features
The Nothing Ear (2) has high-end features like Hybrid ANC, which would significantly lessen background noise. The Ear (2) will be 0.2 gms lighter than its predecessor, weighing only 4.5 gms each. Moreover, the earbuds will have an IP54 designation for water and perspiration resistance. The Nothing earbuds can easily connect automatically to the Nothing phones. It would also support simultaneous connections to two devices and may also come with Personalised Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which would let users customise the level of ANC to suit their preferences. Users will also be able to personalise their sound preferences with the Advanced EQ tool.
Price & Availability
There is no concrete information on the price of the Nothing Ear (2). Because the Ear (1) costs around $90, we can expect the Ear (2) to be priced at somewhere around $95-$100 approximately. The Nothing Ear (2) is all set to release on March 22, with it being available across all major e-commerce platforms and retail stores worldwide.
