Two new models of the Wyze smart home camera have been launched. The Wyze Cam OG comes with either a floodlight or a telephoto lens. The standard model of the Wyze Cam OG comes with a floodlight, while the variant with a 3x telephoto lens omits the external light. Let us have a further look at what they have to offer.

There are some common security surveillance functions included with the Wyze Cam OG smart cameras. The camera has a spotlight and a 1080p sensor that can record at night. The smart camera’s maximum brightness is 40 lm, which is sufficient to offer only limited visibility. The cameras can display feeds from two cameras concurrently in the new picture-in-picture mode.

Features

A more narrowly zoomed-in field of view is offered by the Wyze Cam OG telephoto version. It is fairly comparable to the ordinary version in terms of its parts and functions. It helps to give enough remote surveillance, which is great in particular situations. The Picture-in-Picture feature is also supported for dual streaming monitoring. Wyze has a separate kit available that enables you to place two Cam OG cameras side by side. The cameras have an IP65 rating, allowing them to survive the weather outside.

Price & Availability

Last week, the pair of cameras joined the Cam Pan V3 release in the Wyze line of products. From January 18, the Wyze Cam OG models will be sold for a starting price of $19.99. The starting price for the camera’s base model is $23.99. The Wyze Cam OG’s telephoto edition has a discounted price of $29.99, but it was originally priced at $33.99. Delivery times and shipping charges may vary depending on the region.
