Design
The new Dell laptop includes a carbon fibre composite palm rest and, like its predecessor, an aluminium chassis. A 4K+ LCD panel with 500 nits of peak brightness and an FHD+ alternative with incredibly small bezels and a 93.7% screen-to-body ratio will be the two screen options for the laptop. The former boasts 94% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage and DisplayHDR+ certification, which is an upgrade from the other laptops from Dell.
Specifications
The first model in the series will be the most advanced, including a Core i9 processor and GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card. The Dell XPS 17 9730 is also compatible with the latest 13th Gen Intel Core processors, including the i9-13900H, i7, and i5.
Because they operate a little bit cooler than IHX CPUs, Raptor Lake processors are perfect for laptops in the XPS class. The processors are capable of supporting 4TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD and up to 64GB of RAM. The GeForce RTX 4000 series graphics cards have an output of 60W, which is considered entry-level.
